Course: Foundations of Visual Arts / Exercise: Observations & Form Finding
One of the main aspects of the foundation course was built by perception and influence of formal observation. Students were assigned to photograph images of their surroundings. They captured—within a quantitative scope—elements of point, line and plane in different stages. This exercise helped raise the sensitivities of the students as visual on-lookers, allowing them to percieve the world around them from a different perspective—through pure formal lens.
