Course: Foundations of Visual Arts / Exercise: Observations & Form Finding
One of the main aspects of the foundation course is observation. Students are assigned to photograph images of their surroundings, capturing basic forms of dot, lines and planes in different stages. This exercise helps raise the sensitivities of the students as visual on-lookers, allowing them to discover the world around them from a different perspective—through basic shapes and forms.
